Corporate Paralegal

Description Robert Half Legal is partnering with a heavy machinery company located in the northwest suburbs that's seeking a Corporate Paralegal with at least 4+ years of experience to join their in-house legal department. This position will assist with the drafting, reviewing, and negotiating of commercial contracts, assisting with corporate maintenance responsibilities, and assisting with litigation support. This position is paying between $80-100K with full benefits and the role will be 100% in-office. Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the belowCorporate Paralegal Responsibilities

Reviews, drafts, edits, redlines, and negotiates contracts and other legal documents.

Reviews, tracks, and supports litigation efforts internally and with outside counsel.

Engages and supports outside counsel for difficult customer collection issues.

Supports business insurance responsibilities including claim filings and COI reviews.

Maintains business filings for various corporate entities.

Independently handle assigned projects which may include research, analysis, engagement of third party services, compiling data, developing reports, and gathering supporting documents.

Reviews and analyzes legal bills, and assist with accounting group functions.

Maintains Corporate Record Books.

Bachelor Degree; paralegal certificate preferred

4+ years of paralegal experience

Experience with contracts management, corporate maintenance, and litigation support

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
