Lead a team of five (5) to ten (10) BACA Documentation professionals who own the new and existing client documentation process for all lines of business across the bank.Job SummaryAs a BACA Documentation Team Manager within the Commercial Bank, you will be responsible for leading and managing an experienced documentation team that is responsible for the research and preparation of all documents, Treasury Service products, and services required in relation to the BACA product for our commercial customers. This role educates clients as well as internal partners on various aspects and requirements of the authorization and Treasury Services product documentation. The Manager will serve as a point of escalation for the team, ensure timely resolution of client documentation issues and be responsible for the overall success of the team by coaching and mentoring.Job Responsibilities

Lead a team responsible for BACA documentation management, negotiation oversight, execution and administration of client documentation

Establish structure to ensure continual learning and alliance with Legal partners and other internal business partners

Manage internal partner and client expectations and understanding

Exhibit ownership of onboarding experience and ensure client satisfaction

Maintain a client-first culture among the team through open dialogue, encouragement of feedback, and attracting and/or retaining superior talent

Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal business partners in Relationship Management, Sales, Service, Operations and Product Management

Work with partners in Operations and Product Management to streamline processes

Foster a culture of teamwork and respect with partners and within CBCO

Develop, scope, and execute on internal initiatives as assigned

Utilize management reports and metrics to ensure success in meeting team objectives

Oversee team employee adherence to policies and procedures

Maintain awareness of business risk and ownership of issues when they arise

Manage team capacity and proactively manage expenses

Required Qualifications, capabilities and skills

Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science degree and 3+ years of relevant experience or knowledge of legal documentation and complex account products, entity organizational documents, tax documentation and other documentation types

Experience in coaching or mentoring employees and proven ability to successfully manage conflict

Excellent attention to detail

Experience in risk awareness and skills to develop and ensure quality program set-ups

Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and organizational skills

High level risk awareness

Judgment and reasoning skills

Strategic thinking with the ability to adapt to and drive change

MS Office Suite experience

Strong presentation and negotiating skills

Demonstrated team building skills and ability to work in a team environment

Ability to recruit, retain, and develop talented team members across their career journey

Comfort in using technology such as WebEx, Zoom and other collaboration tools for enhanced client discussions

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

Paralegal or Juris Doctor certificate

Understanding and previous experience working with Blocked Account Contract Agreements

Experience in financial services, with a preference in Corporate/Commercial Banking

Knowledge of the Risk and Control Self-Assessment framework and testing

Ability to provide quantifiable management reporting
