Feasibility studies, including modelling and simulation, as appropriate to guide system architecture design

Create high level system and sub-system design and architecture requirements

Join cross-functional teams to develop and validate new or improved subsystem, and/or component functionality. Identify tasks and contribute to project plans. Align with program management on a regular basis.

Hands on integration, validation, verification and troubleshooting of prototype systems and workflows

Characterize and document performance of systems using statistical analysis, design of experiment (DOE) and statistical process control (SPC)

KEYS TO SUCCESS.Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors with 5+ years of related experience; or Masters with 3+ years related experience, or PhD. Preferred degree : Physics, Mechanical, Systems or Electrical Engineering. Advanced degree preferred. Equivalent work experiencemay be considered.

Strong combination of analytical skills and hands on characterization using statistical methods

Demonstrated competency in some of the following areas: nanotechnology, system and process characterization and matching, high voltage, electronics, electron microscopes, ion beam systems, machine learning (ML) & artificial intelligence (AI), semiconductor capital equipment and processes, automation, Python, metrology, motion & mechatronics, vibration & acoustics, vacuum systems, model based systems engineering (MBSE), design for six sigma (DfSS).
