Job Summary:
The Office Assistant provides administrative, general, and accounting support to the home office team.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Answering and directing phone calls to the appropriate person professionally and calmly
Communicates with Contractors and project managers regarding payments and invoices
Performs general administrative duties that include filing, copying, and scanning documents.
Helps to reconcile benefits invoices to ensure that billing is accurate.
Supports with light Human Resources functions such as needed.
Orders, tracks and replenishes office supplies.
Schedule appointments with new clients and book them in the project managers calendar
Provides general support to office personnel and customers as needed
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Maintain a clean working environment
Having prior experience in remodeling and or construction is a huge plus
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Organized with attention to detail.
Ability to resolve customer complaints to the appropriate individual while maintaining a professional and calm demeanor.
Able to maintain strict standards of confidentiality with sensitive information.
Proficient in Microsoft Office And quick books
Must have good attention to detail
Education and Experience:
Some college is preferred
A minimum of 2 years of administrative experience.
experience in construction or remodeling is preferred but not a deal breaker if your willing to learn
Experience with materials such as countertops , backsplash, flooring etc would be a huge plus
