In our products, as a brand, as a team and as individuals.Passion - We love what we do and take pride in sharing our work with others.Innovation- We are complex problem solvers.Collaboration - We are better together.Community – We embrace the collective impact we can have from our diverse perspectives; on each other, society, and our environment.About these internship opportunities: Outdoor Research is looking to build diversity in the outdoor industry by offering up to 5 underrepresented students the opportunity to intern within one of our departments (full time) for 6 weeks. Interns will have the opportunity to work on projects that build their skills, learn cross-functional dynamics, and build connections within the outdoor industry along with fellow interns. Be prepared to share which characteristics you represent that are underrepresented; be it perspective - race, gender identity, disability, or a unique background.Which departments are you interested in learning more about?

Direct to Consumer - The e-commerce team combines technology, user experience, analytics, merchandising, and digital marketing to develop a direct relationship with our customers

Marketing – Attracting new customers in our established apparel line (building on current momentum in the outdoor industry)

Product Design – Designing future styles based on market analysis and consumer needs

Sales – Wholesale - Working with our various sales representatives, distributors and specialty retailers (ski shops, REI, outdoor stores, etc.) across the country / globe to align order fulfillment and provide top class service

Supply Chain- Ensure that right amount of product is available to customer at right place and right time (Forecasting customer demand, executing procurement plan, monitoring production, coordinating delivery from factories to fulfillment centers)

Anticipated Internship Dates: June 17 – July 26Located in Seattle, interns would need to be in-house at least 3 days per week depending on department.Position Requirements What you should bring to the table:
