Fully Certified Pilates Instructors Wanted
Pilates People is a small, boutique Pilates studio in its 3rd year of brick and mortar business in NYC! We are committed to our vision to make Pilates fun for ALL THE BODIES and are constantly growing and expanding.
As a member of our instructor team, you would be working first hand with our community of movers, helping them to explore their bodies and relationship to movement. Our group Reformer classes are 50 minutes long and capped at 5 people. Our private session room is equipped with 2 Reformers, a Cadillac, Ladder Barrel, Chair, Spine Correctors and props allowing our 55 minute sessions to really explore everything Pilates has to offer!
Strong candidates will demonstrate:
- a full comprehensive Pilates certification
- the ability to command a room of people
- a strong knowledge of body mechanics, injuries, varying body identities, shapes, colors and sizes and how to make everyone have a good, safe and fun workout
- injury prevention/rehabilitation knowledge
- schedule organization
- time management
- team work
- a generally friendly attitude
Open class shifts include:
Mondays 9/10/11am
Wednesdays 7/8/9/10am
Thursdays 7/8/am
Saturdays 12/1/2/3pm
it is possible to swap shifts around and open up different/more times! We can discuss more via email!
Private availability can be set individually based on instructor and studio need!
