Castle Hill Inn is looking for an Assistant Front Office Manager to join our team.

Nestled on 40 secluded acres overlooking the southwestern corner of Narragansett Bay, Castle Hill Inn – a member of the prestigious Relais & Chateaux association – is a coastal haven where guests come to relax and rejuvenate against a spectacular New England backdrop. The property features 33 guest rooms in the Inn’s historic mansion or perched on the sand dunes of our private beach, a catering venue, and two destination restaurants. About the Position: In the Assistant Front Office Manager role, you will be responsible for the caring and efficient operation of the Front Desk and Guest Services Team. You will work with managers and employees to successfully execute all front office and guest service operations while upholding and embodying five-star hospitality standards

About You: You are passionate, energetic and to whom pleasing and impressing guests comes naturally. You are an aspiring hospitality professional who is ambitious, eager to learn and understands the value of working in a team-based environment.

Essential Duties:

Ensuring a quality guest experience by managing all areas of the hotel’s daily operations

Hiring, training, and coaching of employees

Hands on training and development of all service positions, specific areas to include Guest Service, Etiquette, etc.

Invoicing, inventory, and cost controls

Qualifications:

Must have a minimum of 2-4 years of front office supervisory or management experience

Experience in a luxury hospitality hotel/resort setting is preferred

Must have flexible schedule to work during days, nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed

Skills & Abilities:

Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills

Strong computer & automation skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, POS, Inventory & Labor systems, etc.)

Be collaborative, using a team approach to creating an equitable workplace environment and have respectful working relationships

Compensation and Benefits:

Competitive compensation $50,000/Year
