Music Mentor for kids - $30/lesson

We're hiring a guitar and piano instructor for the kiddos enrolled in our music school. You do not need to be an expert-level player, but we do need you to be an expert-level communicator.

Do you have teaching experience?

Are you available between 4-6pm most weekdays?

Do you enjoy teaching kids between the ages of 8-12?

Do you have a good rapport with families?

Are you a confident musician?

Do you have a reliable vehicle, and a stable living situation?

The average time our teachers work here is about 3 years. We want to hire well and help you thrive.

Bonus points if you can teach ukulele, bass, drums, or voice, too.

You'll work between 5-12 hours a week (depending on your preference) in inner East Portland.

The starting pay is $30/hr for each 45 minute lessons. And there are bonus opportunities. You'll be paid weekly as an independent contractor.
