Job Description: Analyze software and systems requirements Independently write, execute, and maintain test cases for vehicle system testing and software bench level testing. This may include new test documentation as well as support, maintenance, or enhancement of existing test documentation Execute tests on vehicle level and software bench level. This includes operation of agriculture machinery. This includes testing the display and machine ECU functionality, focusing on CAN bus functionality between the display and machine ECU and Autoguidence features. Testing will be a mix of manual and automated. Create test scripts in python where appropriate for bench level software testing. Create test results reports Report test progress according to software release schedules Analyze test result to determine future test coverage improvements Ensure traceability of test causes to requirementsAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Required Qualifications: BS/MS in Agricultural is most preferred. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science also acceptable Experience with agriculture equipment/machines and agriculture operations. Example:o seed sensing technologyo path planning with headlands and obstacleso Seeding heatmaps Experience reading and interpreting system and software requirements to develop test cases, test scripts and performing testing. Understanding of common software verification and validation concepts, including functional, performance, regression testing, boundary conditions, positive and negative test cases, code coverage, etc. Knowledge of CAN Communication, J1939 and ISOBUS Ability to work well with others in a team environment Strong trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills Good oral and written communication skills with the ability to professionally support periodic communication to management and technical teams is required.Nice to have Qualifications Experience with Squish for QT test automationAbout Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
