Patient Care Technician - Med Surg

DescriptionThe Patient Care Technician assists patients with activities of daily living and selective procedures delegated and communicated by the licensed nurse. Coursework/Training Successful completion of Patient Care Technician Course (Require certificate of completion from school.) And

Coursework/Training Phlebotomist: Successful completion of a Covenant approved Phlebotomy training course including a minimum of 20 patient sticks observed by Covenant Phlebotomist or Licensed Nurses (trained in Phlebotomy). Or

Coursework/Training Monitor Technician: Successful completion of a comprehensive cardiac dysrhythmias course or monitor technician course. Proficient in cardiac dysrhythmia detection.

upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

upon hire: Certified Patient Care Technician from approved National Certification Agency such as National Healthcareer Association.

Preferred Qualifications:

1 year At least one year of PCT experience.

6 months Phlebotomy experience.
