Bear Busters is a small company that has been the leader and innovator of home protection from bear break ins since 2010. We use modified electric livestock fencing customized on homes, residential and commercial buildings and spaces. Our passion is protecting homes and business while keeping bears out of trouble and in the wild. We strive to have a happy and balanced work environment and our employee’s become family over time. General Laborer

Pay:

$25-30 an hour Depends on experience

Work season goes till the snow shuts us down in December.

Job Duties:

-Installing electric fence systems on homes

-Work on a 2 man crew assisting the lead technician

-cleaning/stocking of supplies in the work van

-cleaning up the job site after the install is completed.

-be on a new job everyday

-interacting with customers

What would make a great employee

A strong candidate will have excellent customer service and communication skills and work well with team members. A great employee will display self-initiative and accountability. This type of construction is very specialized and we will offer all the training on how to build our systems. However, previous construction experience is essential, and you should be capable of using power drills and hand tools. We work in tight places, under homes and decks and you must be comfortable with this part of the job. Have reliable transportation to get to our shop in downtown Truckee.

The day to day routine

-About 7-30-8am meet at our downtown Truckee shop

-load work van with needed supplies

-drive in the work van to the job for the day

-unload supplies and tools while lead tech is assessing the job

-install the electric deterrents on the home

-clean job site and load van

-drive back to shop and clean out the van of the days trash
