Description Our clients in Atlanta, specializing in litigation across various practice areas have engaged with us for their search for a Litigation Paralegal to join their team. Compensation ranges from $75-85k, depending on experience.Job Description:As a Litigation Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients’ attorneys in all stages of the litigation process. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.Responsibilities:

Case Management: Assist attorneys with all aspects of case preparation and management, including organizing documents, maintaining case files, and managing deadlines.

Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research using online databases, court records, and other resources to support case preparation and strategy.

Drafting Documents: Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and subpoenas under the guidance of attorneys.

Discovery Support: Assist in the discovery process by organizing, reviewing, and summarizing documents, as well as preparing responses to discovery requests.

Trial Preparation: Coordinate trial preparation activities, including witness preparation, exhibit organization, and courtroom logistics.

Client Communication: Interact with clients, witnesses, and outside parties to gather information and coordinate schedules as needed.

Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and billing time accurately.

Technology Utilization: Utilize legal software and technology tools proficiently to manage documents, track case developments, and facilitate communication within the team.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Paralegal certificate from an accredited institution is highly desirable.

Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a litigation paralegal, preferably in a law firm setting.

Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software applications.
