Retail Sales/Design Consultant at Rooms & Gardens

We are looking for a motivated sales associate with prior customer service experience and design sensibility to join our team. We need a positive, outgoing person who is detail oriented and has effective time management skills. Being able to understand the customer and communicate effectively is a priority. Must be able to work weekends.

Retail Sales/Design Consultant Responsibilities:

- Helping clients choose furniture

- Possess knowledge of a wide range of products

- Keep current on products and trends

- Provide a high level of customer service in a fast paced environment

- Work closely with our Interior Design clientele to promote suitable fabric and wallcovering solutions for a wide variety of design projects.

- Display integrity with an ever present commitment to providing the best possible Customer Service experience.

Retail Sales and Design Consultant Qualifications:

- College graduate or some college and a minimum of 1 year of experience in either Design, or prior industry sales experience

- A passion for design, home improvement and making things beautiful

- Ability to learn new things daily

- Customer-driven

- Excellent time management and follow up skills

- Flexible and adaptable

- Able to complete multiple duties with accuracy shifting from one to another with frequent interruptions and competing deadlines

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to work independently and prioritize duties with minimal supervision in order to meet

clients' needs

- Maintain a fresh and desirable showroom aesthetic with frequently updated product displays.

- Positive, energetic, can-do attitude
