Experienced Maintenance-Man Position

Established residential property management company is seeking an experienced and self-motivated individual to perform maintenance work at various properties in Los Angeles and Newbury Park.

TYPES OF WORK:

General Building Maintenance and Cleaning.

Painting.

Plumbing Repairs & Installation of Fixtures.

Electrical Repairs & Installation of Fixtures.

Appliance Repairs.

Carpentry.

Tub & Tile Reglazing.

Drywall & Finish.

Vinyl Floor Installation.

Window Repairs.

Masonry, Concrete & Asphalt Repair.

Roofing Repairs.

Maintain and repair air conditioning and heating systems as required.

Pick-up and delivery of materials and supplies.

Preparing vacant apartments for rent.

QUALIFICATIONS:

U.S. Citizen or resident alien authorized to work in the U.S.

Must pass drug test and criminal background check.

Ability to safely use common power and hand tools.

Ability to work safely from a ladder.

Valid California Driver's License with a good driving record, a dependable vehicle and vehicle insurance.

Must have your own tools.

Basic math skills.

Strong attention to detail.

Clear, concise verbal and written communication.

Good organization and time management skills.

High school diploma or equivalent; proficient in English.

Ability to take directions as well as work with minimal supervision.

Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, climb, crouch or crawl.

Must be able to carry/lift loads of over 50 lbs.

Maintain cleanliness at all work sites as well as personal cleanliness.

WORK SCHEDULE:

20 - 40 Hours per week. Typically, Monday – Friday 8:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M. Occasional weekend work may also be required (hours may vary).

COMPENSATION:

Starting hourly rate of $25.00-$30.00 depending on experience. Potential increase of rate based on productivity.

Mileage Reimbursement (after arrival at first location).
