AV Technician- McCurdys Comedy Theatre

Exciting opportunity to join the team at McCurdy’s Comedy Theatre as an AV technician. We are looking for someone with excellent editing skills using Adobe Creative Cloud, Premiere and Photoshop, who is looking to work in a fast paced show environment you will be working mainly on a Mac Pro, running video ques, light ques, and sound ques for the show on most days then working on podcast recording and clip editing.

Somewhat Required Skills:

Outgoing and energetic: the live show requires a lot of focus & patience to run smoothly

Adobe Creative Cloud: a basic understanding of most apps with a focus on Premiere

Qlab: it's an obscure program but one of the most powerful. (easy to learn, training provided)

Sound engineering experience is a plus

DMX Light experience as well a plus

MacOS / Windows : Familiarity with both major Operating Systems

Instagram/facebook/youtube: a solid foundation of social media

Wirecast or equivalent Live Streaming Experience
