About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Information Security Engineer. The team is responsible for ensuring the stability of security products designed for the Unix/Linux platform and helping connect tools and processes. The team works with partners to understand business processes and requirements and then provides consulting and solutions design to enable risk mitigation across the UNIX/Linux distributed platform. This role will be partnering with multiple technical environments to research, analyze and incorporate security controls to include technologies such as SSOD (Single Sign On for Databases) PMUL (privileged Management Unix Linux) BoKS Authentication and Authorization. Role is required to script in the UNIX Shell environment to include Python, Perl, and MySQLIn this role, you will:

Lead or participate in ensuring the stability of security products designed for the Unix/Linux platform and helping connect tools and processes.

Understand business processes and requirements and then provides consulting and solutions design to enable risk mitigation across the UNIX/Linux distributed platform

Provide security consulting on medium projects for internal clients to ensure conformity with corporate information, security policy, and standards

Design, document, test, maintain, and provide issue resolution recommendations for moderately complex security solutions related to networking, cryptography, cloud, authentication and directory services, applications, and endpoint security

Partner with multiple technical environments to include Access Management to research, analyze and incorporate security controls to include technologies such as Single Sign on and Privileged Access Management BoKS Authentication and Authorization.

Review and correlate security logs using Splunk

Utilize subject matter knowledge in industry leading security solutions and best practices to implement one or more components of information security such as availability, integrity, confidentiality, risk management, threat identification, modeling, monitoring, incident response, access management, and business continuity

Identify security vulnerabilities and issues, perform risk assessments, and evaluate remediation alternatives

Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Required Qualifications, US:

4+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

4+ years Linux/Unix troubleshooting and configuration

4+ years SSH configuration and operational troubleshooting

3+ years of Log management

2+ years BoKS Authentication and Authorization Technology

2+ years SHELL scripting

2+ years Jira/Confluence

Desired Qualifications:

MySQL Database PL-SQL scripting experience

SSL/TLS certificate management experience

Azure/AWS Cloud or similar experience

Python/Perl scripting experience

Service Now experience

Zabbix/Grafana experience

Kerberos experience

SLDAP experience

Splunk experience

Agile/Sprint/Scrum experience
