2ND Shift 8 hrs or 12hrs with OT
Pay is $21.00 an hour
Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
Frequently stand and walk. Sitting, using hands to lift or move, reaching with hands and arms.
Work in either a refrigerated or unconditioned environment.
Stay up-to-date on all Computer Based Training (CBT)
Follow the Company’s Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements, and Code of Ethics, as well as all material handling, dock and security safety.
Comprehend and follow verbal instructions, written short correspondence and memos.
Effectively present information in writing, one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
Add and subtract two digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s using units of American money, weight, volume and distance.
Maintain a valid forklift license.
Participation in daily, weekly and quarterly inventory counts, as assigned.
Use only equipment assigned by your supervisor.
Perform daily equipment inspections on all equipment that is used reporting any defects to your supervisor.
Clean and organize area and equipment daily.
Pick all products in First In First Out (FIFO) rotation.
Assigned to one or more of the following areas and responsibilities:
Finished Goods
Pick, stage and wrap accurate orders with no damages
Meet or exceed department cases per hour Key Performance Indicator (KPI) target
Arrange product with dates legible and within allowable shipment requirements
Stock and rotate finished and manufactured resale product. Make sure receipt matches product
Packaging / Raw Material Warehouse
Pick and stage packaging supplies accurately for production with no errors
Complete all pick sheets with the required information
Stage all material to ensure no downtime in production
Return all unused material to the correct storage location
Take samples of all new or revised labels to Quality Assurance (QA) for approval
Take all daily parcel deliveries to the addressed recipient (packaging warehouse only)
Take recyclable material to its designated area
Additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned by a Lead and/or Supervisor.
Level V:
All responsibilities listed at Level III
Download, start and perform daily workload in the absence of a Lead or Supervisor
Review warehouse to ensure FIFO is being followed making corrections as needed
Demonstrated ability to perform and train other employees in all 3 areas of the Warehouses (Finished Goods, Packaging and Raw Material Warehouses)
Finished Goods
Load and secure departing transports with no errors and in weight scale range
Receive product accurately from daily plant production and complete required paperwork within Company procedures
Packaging / Raw Material Warehouse
Receive product accurately from vendors and complete required paperwork within Company procedures
Receive and unload bulk tank deliveries
Yard Operator – Level V
All responsibilities listed at Level V
Must have a valid Class A Commercial Drivers’ License and current Medical Certification
Must follow all safety, DOT and local Vehicle Laws, including driving for local pickups
Demonstrate ability to operate a yard truck with trailer attached, including hooking up and backing into docks
