Network Engineer- Remote

Presidio is hiring Network Engineer Consultants (Contract)-Remote.

Responsibilities:

Implement, design, optimize and maintain technologies including Switches, Routers, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN.

Monitor the networks, systems and overall environment while adhering to security best practices.

Implement network changes and modifications, handle troubleshooting and issue resolution.

Requirements:

Over five years of experience configuring and managing enterprise class Cisco network systems including Routers, Switches, Firewalls, IOS and NX-OS based platforms.

Experience installing, monitoring and testing of networking system software and hardware to ensure network performance.

Experience with network protocols including a combination of OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP.

Advanced experience with network functions such as DHCP, DNS, AD, and WINS.

Experience working with an SD-WAN solution.
