CARPENTER / HANDYMAN for Hire for NoVA Handyman Business

We are looking to hire a high-quality carpenter / handyman for our Northern Virginia handyman business (as a subcontractor). We are a well established handyman business operating for over 30 years, and provide excellent income potential and schedule flexibility. We service Fairfax and Arlington County, so applicants need to live in or very near these areas.

REQUIREMENTS

Must be experienced in carpentry- handyman work, punch-out work, and/or re-modeling

Must be able to get on ladders

Must be able to communicate well with customers

Must speak good English and read English well

Must be customer-service oriented

Must have access to computer daily and/or a smartphone

Must have a reliable work vehicle. Must have truck or van (no car or minivan)

Must have a good driving record

Must be proficient in most of the following:

Carpentry

Drywall

Painting

Door Installation

Caulking

Not required but higher income potential if you have experience in:

Previous experience with a handyman company

Able to get on ladders

Crown molding installation

Fine carpentry

Rot repair

Other handyman skills
