LaundroLab is hiring part-time Customer Service Laundry Attendants at our Laundromat located at 510 N. Telegraph Road, Oakland Pointe, Waterford, MI. We have been voted the cleanest laundromat in town.

As a Customer Service Laundry Attendant, you must have a passion for customer service and love helping people.

You will greet customers coming in, answer their questions, and help troubleshoot any problems that may arise with our machines. You will also learn the ins-and-outs of our Wash, Dry, Fold laundry process.

We currently are hiring for the following shift: 3pm-10pm (Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday).

Customer Service Attendant Responsibilities:

Open or Close store, dependent on shift.

Greet our customers and guests and assist in their laundry service if they request

Must have some knowledge of phone apps – we offer Laundry Pay as an option to pay for machines so you may be

asked to walk people through the set up process

Ability to trouble shoot situations as they arise with machines, etc.

Become a laundromat expert who is able to troubleshoot any issues with our machines (you will be trained)

Cover the front desk to keep our laundromat clean and welcoming

Wash, dry, and fold laundry according to our process

Care for our customer’s items as if they were your own

Cleaning per check list – we pride ourselves on a clean store so many of your duties will be cleaning

Check in and organize laundry bags

Sort and prepare laundry for the wash, dry, fold process

Transport laundry from washers to dryers (when customers pay for said option)

Organize children’s area, lounge area, etc.

Care for our customer’s items as if they were your own

Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements of a Customer Service Attendant

Previous customer-facing customer service experience required

Prior experience working in a laundromat is a plus (but not necessary)

Must enjoy cleaning – we pride ourselves on a clean store

MUST be responsible and feel confident working your shift on your own

Positive attitude and ability to problem solve

Reliable transportation to and from work

Ability to stand for an 8 hour shift

Feel comfortable working the public

Be opening to take on additional shifts if desired

Must pass background check

Hours of Operation: LaundoLab is open 7 days a week 7:00am to 10pm.
