Senior Auto Tech / Mechanic

We are looking for a motivated Automotive/Diesel Mechanic to perform all required automotive repair services to ensure vehicle operations are safe and reliable. We need you to troubleshoot and solve problems with a wide range of components, from the electrical and fuel systems, to the engine and the drive train. You will also be responsible for ensuring vehicles are in proper working condition and are ready to be driven on our car lot. As an Automotive/Diesel Mechanic, you will work directly with our customers to address their concerns and identify solutions that meet their needs. You should be able to work independently and with a sense of urgency. Your goal will be to deliver excellent customer service by providing accurate estimates and delivering quality repairs on time.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine and preventative maintenance on all automotive/diesel vehicles at customer locations.

Assist in repairing leaks, oil leaks, transmission issues, suspension issues and other common issues.

Diagnose and repair computer-related issues, e.g. A/C or battery diagnosis.

Maintain parts inventory and order as needed.

Advise customers on potential upgrades to vehicle performance and perform repairs accordingly.

Drive vehicles to and from customer locations for repair or service.

Maintain cleanliness of service bay, tools and cars in stock.

Make recommendations for vehicle updates such as new tires or battery replacement.
