Nanny/House Assistant

Summary

Bel Air family seeks a professional home assistant with nannying experience for a part-time position providing a range of duties in the household, including assisting with the children, coordinating care related to the property, and some personal assistant duties.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone trustworthy and professional who can grow with the family. The ideal candidate has great attention to detail and is highly organized with a calm and warm demeanor and can relate to a teenage girl. The assistant must be willing to commit to the position long-term, as longevity and consistency are important to the family.

Responsibilities

After school pickups for a 13-year-old girl. There are five children within the household, however the 3 eldest are older teenagers or in college. (See additional needs below regarding 3-year-old)

Driving children to appointments as needed

Grocery shopping and additional errands

Light meal prep

Light housekeeping and organizing (there is a housekeeper)

Pet care

Scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars

Coordinating/supervising the property's maintenance staff

Schedule

This is a part time position (20 hours per week minimum), though we will consider more hours for the right person. A flexible schedule is helpful as the schedule may occasionally vary. However, availability on Mondays, Tuesdays, and some Fridays (from 11am to about 7pm) is required. Applicant must have a vehicle and clean driving record, be comfortable driving children, and be willing to undergo a background check.

Additional needs (if interested in more hours)

We also have a 3-year-old and are seeking an after-school babysitter, 4-8pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays and/or on the weekends. We are willing to hire two separate people or one person interested in both positions. Must be CPR-trained or willing to be.
