Information Technology & Desktop Support Technician

Provide administrative and first line technical support to a variety of businesses and offices located mainly in the Los Angeles area with remote support to same offices. Professional image, intelligence, teamwork, attention to customer service, and positive attitude are all required for this role. Will have primary and secondary support roles working with customers in LA area and coordinate with other IT support teams on projects and other related efforts. This position has long term growth for the right person.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Provide hands-on high level desktop and basic network support in mixed environments.

- Work directly and indirectly with a other IT team and vendors.

- Administer and facility use of ticketing and or other project tracking systems for IT efforts.

- Answer customer questions or calls with regards to computing needs; locally and remotely.

- Configure software based on organization standards and industry best practices.

- Administer company policies and guidelines relative to Information Technology and Systems.

- Administer user accounts and active-directory objects.

- Provide right-hand support to senior engineers and site operations managers/leads.

- Performs other related duties as required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:

- Knowledge of modern office procedures and methods including mobile communications, office systems, and record keeping.

- Detailed knowledge of microcomputer technology – network systems, PC hardware, 365, all kinds of software.

- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization in a professional and helpful manner.

- Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.

- Willing to work overtime, and weekends for special projects.

- Dedication to understanding and delivering good customer service.

Must have reliable transportation and ability to drive - legally

Credentials and Experience:

- Associates degree with courses in computer technology. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Bachelor’s degree in progress OK.

- Four years professional experience in IT support role. EXPERIENCED PROFESSIONALS ONLY.
