Plant-Based Food Truck Line Cook Position

Attention all passionate and experienced Food Pros!

Earth Aloha Eats, a thriving plant-based restaurant & food trucks originating in Maui, Hawaii are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic line cook to join our team in Waikiki. We're seeking someone with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, but those with 5+ years experience are preferred.

This location was transported to Waikiki from Lahaina due to the Maui wild fires. We will be looking for someone that can grow into a leadership position and potentially run this location allowing us to bring our family back over to Maui to run the other 2 locations.

As a team member, you'll play a crucial role in preparing and cooking plant-based meals that are not only delicious, but also good for the environment. You'll work alongside a kind and passionate team who are dedicated to using the freshest, locally-sourced ingredients.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare recipes from raw ingredients and assemble cooked items

Back-stock inventory and manage station cleanliness

Multi-task in a fast-paced environment to ensure orders are completed in a timely manner

Improve recipes and help the team develop new menu items

Manage your station and take initiative to pick up slack on other stations when necessary

Our ideal candidate will have an understanding of plant-based cooking and preparation, and an eagerness to learn and grow with our team. You should be able to work well under pressure and be detail-oriented, ensuring that every dish that leaves the kitchen is cooked to perfection.

In addition to a competitive compensation package ranging from $18-$28 per hour, you'll receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid medical, paid dental, and paid vision. We also offer attractive bonuses when monthly goals are achieved, so you'll have the opportunity to increase your earnings based on your performance.

We offer a range of shifts including part time and full time shifts, split shift or 8-10 hour shifts, giving you the flexibility to choose a schedule that suits your needs.
