Janitorial

Job Type: Part-time

Job is located in downtown Pittsburgh. Afternoon hours approximately 3-4 hours a night and 3-5 days per week.

We are looking for an experienced, reliable janitorial cleaner for a part time cleaning position.

Responsibilities:

- Perform industrial cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards

- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in designated areas

- Empty trash cans and dispose of waste properly

- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors

- Dust and wipe down surfaces.

- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is needed

- Follow safety protocols and use protective equipment when handling cleaning chemicals

- Operate buffing machines to maintain the appearance of floors

Experience:

- Previous experience in custodial or janitorial work preferred but not required

- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment is a plus

- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately

- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
