Part-Time Custodian (Temp/Cont.)

The (Temporary) Part-Time Custodian is responsible for taking care of the overall condition and appearance of the church building. Schedule is approximately 15-20 hours per week. Candidate is expected to work Wednesday through Sunday, based on worship services, religious education classes, social/coffee hour, meetings and rentals, with additional weekly hours as needed. Key responsibilities include cleaning and custodial duties, worship/meeting/event setup and cleanup, minor maintenance and repair projects, and providing basic building security. The Part-Time Custodian should take the initiative to resolve small maintenance or repair issues observed during the normal course of work and report those they are unable to deal with to the Parish Administrator. This is a 1099 temporary/contractor position for 4-5 months. The candidate is responsible for their own taxes. Background check and references required.
