Camera / Lighting Rentals Delivery Associate

Greenwood Cine is a NYC-based production / rental house for professional motion picture camera and lighting equipment seeking a Delivery Associate for our Rentals Department in Brooklyn, NY location.

This position is full-time - one major benefit is free weekend rentals of items <25k from our inventory - http://greenwoodcine.com - a trial period is required for this position.

The role of the Delivery Associate requires having a great understanding of packing vehicles and working with film equipment. The delivery associate works on the day-to-day rental orders of our lighting / camera rental team. Working closely with sales agents and clients to ensure the orders are packed and delivered in efficient manner is vital. The delivery associate will be required to scan items / expedite orders on a case to case basis.

We are looking for someone with relevant driving experience using Promaster, Transit Connects, Sprinter Vans through New York City (Box Truck driving experience a plus). This is an entry-level position and everyone is welcome to apply - with or without experience in photo / video / lighting. Our team is a creative mix of storytellers and technicians and we hope to fill this position with an equally devoted, diligent and experienced individual!

Responsibilities

Lead delivery runs to and from vendors / clients

Prepares and makes deliveries to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-cdl)

E-mailing, responding to clients on ETAs / Delays

Pickup and assessments of subrentals

Assisting with the returns team when not on delivery routes

Ensures packing slip details are accurate in accordance to the kit contents

Ensures equipment is packed safely, properly padded and in an organized fashion to ensure the contents of our packages are easy to access

Maintain professional attitude on/off work hours

Maintains vehicles in proper working condition and notify team immediately of issues

Performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required

Additional responsibilities may be assigned to meet our business needs

Skills / Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Must hold a valid driver's license and have a good driving record

Minimum of 21 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle

Prior delivery driving experience a plus

Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours

Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time

Strong customer service and communication skills

Flexibility to work various shifts or overtime as needed

Ability to use computers and tablets

Fast learner in order become proficient in our rental system program

Being able to lift heavy objects up to 70lbs in weight
