Construction Supervisor
Construction SupervisorDenver, CO System One is currently seeking a Construction Supervisor on a 12 month contract position located in the Denver, CO metro area. Construction Supervisor Responsibilities:
Manages the entire project lifecycle from project definition through implementation.
Accountable for meeting agreed upon scope, cost, schedule and quality measures.
Develops project plan and drives project milestones.
Establishes effective communication plan with project team and key stakeholders.
Provides day-to-day direction to project resources and ensures the project teams are provided the resources and support that enable the teams to reach their defined objectives.
Ensures effective change management occurs throughout the course of the project.
Responsible for preparation of documentation and status reports.
Support quality control, safety and general construction oversight to ensure our contractors and subcontractors are working within our policy on safety.
Follow our base capital projects and will bounce around the Denver area potentially up to Pueblo maybe Steamboat Springs, however, about 90% of the time would be in the Denver metro area.
Responsible for quite a few projects including repair work in combustion turbines and coal plants. It could also be electrical projects, mostly low voltage below 1000 Volt and Hydro plants.
Working closely with the project managers reporting directly to them.
Oversee safety, provide quality control, and ensure the contractors are following specifications.
Construction Supervisor Requirements:
Role requires excellent oral and written communications, interpersonal, negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis and problem-solving skills.
Construction knowledge as well as renewable energy knowledge, including fossil fuel plant knowledge, coal burning plants as well as combustion turbine generating plants in addition to solar and wind.
Basic skills in Word and other Microsoft Suite knowledge is required and well as PowerPoint presentations, budgeting and Excel spreadsheets.
8-10 years renewable/plant construction background. (Gas, hydro, coal, wind and solar)
Duration: 12 months
Location: Denver, CO
Pay Rate: $60-65/hr
