Description Robert Half has a great opportunity for a Senior Accountant looking for a career they can grow in our Full Time Consulting Program. As a Full Time Consultant, you will be assigned to various clients to provide services that are appropriate for your skills and experience. We intend for each assignment to give you the chance to add value to the client and give you the opportunity to learn something new. Each assignment will vary in duration, but typically range from 1 month to 1 year in length. The right candidate will be skilled in their work and motivated to build their career. This is a permanent job opportunity as a full time Robert Half employee.Typical assignments will include the following responsibilities:· Coordinating accounting functions and programs.· Preparing financial analyses and reports.· Preparing revenue projections and forecasting expenditure.· Assisting with preparing and monitoring budgets.· Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts.· Assisting with annual audit preparations.· Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.· Preparing federal, state, local, and special tax returns.· Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.· Performing other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assigned. Requirements · Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.· 3+ years of accounting experience.· Working knowledge of tax laws and GAAP.· Strong financial analysis skills.· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.· Strong organizational and stress management skills.· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.· Ability to train and manage staff.· Ability to work with little to no supervision.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
