File Clerk/Team Support Specialist
Compensation: competitive, based on experience
We are an established boutique immigration law firm focused on employment and investment-based immigration. We are located in the Financial District of San Francisco, and are seeking to fill a full-time position involving responsibilities in areas of clerical and operational support, case management, and general office maintenance duties.
Duties will include the following:
Maintain integrity of client case-tracking database information by entry of new filings, status updates and tracking
information on Excel spreadsheets
Receive, scan, file and retrieve documents manually and electronically
Assist attorneys and other support staff in copying, scanning, assembly and shipping of large filings
Support office administrator in opening new client files, ordering supplies and equipment, changing ink cartridges,
contacting and assisting IT specialists to troubleshoot issues
Pro-actively identify methods to improve business processes in order to use firm resources efficiently
Primary telephone responsibilities
Offer attorneys and paralegals support on projects, as needed
Responsibilities may change with time and expand based upon aptitude and abilities. We are looking for someone
who is flexible and willing to take on new tasks as required.
This job involves some lifting of packages weighing up to 25 pounds
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree
Solid computer skills including solid knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, and Excel); Google Docs, Zoom Meetings and Drop Box
High level of customer service orientation toward clients, attorneys, paralegals and other support staff
Excellent time management and organizational skills; and
Good interpersonal/team-player skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Mandarin competence preferred but NOT required
