Job Title: System Engineer (Secret). Job Location: Alexandria, VA. Job Description: Syneren is currently seeking a System Engineer. Responsibilities: Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer with experience working in a DoD environment and possessing a secret clearance. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background with a bachelor's degree or higher in a related field, as well as necessary certifications such as Security + and Azure AZ-900. The Systems Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing system security measures to protect data and systems across the organization in the cloud/on-premise. This individual must have extensive experience in system security and disaster recovery, ensuring that all systems are well-protected against potential threats and vulnerabilities. In addition to system security expertise, experience with vulnerability patching, additional knowledge surrounding Ctirix VDI management would be highly beneficial. The Systems Engineer will be responsible for identifying and addressing security vulnerabilities, as well as implementing best practices for system patching and updates.+ + Responsible for daily, monthly and weekly reports.
Reviews and schedules security patches weekly.
Performs daily maintenance checks on cloud/on-premise environments.
Attends on behalf of the Infrastructure Team to assess level of effort of new tasks.
The Systems Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation of all systems and to mitigate any potential risks to data security.
