Architectural Project Manager

LJP Architects is looking for a full-time project manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills focused on listening to the client's needs and translating that into the processes and systems needed to complete the project. A proactive attitude and a strong work ethic for problem-solving is a must.

This is a fast-growing company with nationwide clients so having a great attitude and being able to hit the ground running is essential. We expect any project manager to be able to make decisions and work well with supporting staff. Compensation is based on experience. Our work consists of commercial, retail, and restaurants both free-standing and interior build-outs.

-5-10 years of experience working on commercial architecture projects in a professional office

-Excellent communication skills - able to listen to client's needs and communicate needs and directions to consultants and staff

-Education requirements: minimum Bachelor of Architecture, but professional degree preferred.

-Software requirements: AutoCAD, Photoshop, Revit, Sketchup, and Microsoft Office

-Located in West suburbs-Palos Hills, IL

-You will be working on a variety of projects - In a single day, you could be working on anything and everything from preliminary designs or construction documents to reviewing design packages, etc,

-Travel required (40%-site visits)

-Must be able to organize and produce construction documents, write specifications, review shop drawings, and provide construction administration duties

Salary: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
