Horse Farm in Lockhart Area is looking for an individual looking to gain experience with equine breeding and managment.

Stall Cleaning & Barn Maintenence

Feeding & Watering Horses

Horse Grooming and Care

Hore Handling (Stallions, Mares and Foals)

Assisting Farrier as needed

Driving Horses in Horse Trailer to the Vet as needed

Driving to Feed Store to Pick up Feed

Checking Herd daily for general health

Assisting with Breeding Mares & Collection of Stallions

Riding Lessons Available to the Right Individual

Requirements For Intern Applicants Includes:

Must be reliable and punctual

You must have reliable transportation and a valid drivers license

You must be physically able to lift 50 lbs

Prior experience working with horses or other farm animals

Ability to work variable hours as needed during foaling, breeding and showing seasons

Must be able to work both in a supervised and unsupervised manner

Must be responsible mature individual

Must have at least 3 good references

Valid Drivers License
