Caregiver/Personal Support needed for Gentleman with Autism

Full time/part-time Personal Care Providers needed to assist an adult with Autism in his family home and in the community. The individual needs support with ADLs and community activities. Assistance is needed in the morning and afternoons during the week and all day during the weekends. The hours range from early morning to prepare for ADT then late afternoon until bedtime. Experience working with individuals with autism or intellectual disabilities is highly recommended. The individual is currently working with ABA and personal support on a behavior plan to become more independent and work toward living independently in his own home.

Hours currently needed are:

5:30am until 8:00am Monday to Friday $25.00 per hour

3:30pm until 11:30pm Monday to Friday $17.00 per hour

8:30am until 11:30pm Saturday and Sunday $18.00 per hour (can split into shifts)

Flexibility and dependable transportation are a must.

Positions range from full time, part-time, weekdays, weekends, overnights, live-in and PRN care.

All hourly rates start at $15 per hour and increase for full-care, behaviors, and weekend only shifts)

Qualifications

Caregiver must be at least 18 years of age and have at least one year of experience working in a medical, psychiatric, nursing, or childcare setting or working with recipients who have a developmental disability. (College, vocational or technical training equal to 30 semester hours, 45 quarter hours or 720 classroom hours may substitute for the required experience.)

Must have completed, or willing to complete all required trainings.

Medication Administration (Rule 65G-7) if needed
