Traffic Engineer
Description:The Traffic Engineer will specialize in the design, planning, and analysis for traffic engineering projects. They will be involved in traffic data collection, preparation of traffic studies, traffic signal and marking plans, and project costs and scheduling.Key Responsibilities:Prepare contract documents, specifications, and construction cost estimatesPerform engineering and design for traffic signal sequencing, traffic and crash analysis, traffic signal design, traffic phasing and timing, and traffic modelingTraffic impact studiesField investigationsTraffic data collectionPlan sheet developmentDevelopment of reports and preliminary conceptsQualifications:Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering2+ years of experience in engineering and design for Transportation projects2+years of experience with MicroStation, AutoCAD Civil 3D, or OpenRoadsCurrently working towards PE License, or currently have licenseAbout Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
