Hiring Traveling Carpenter

Seeking traveling carpenters with experience in cabinet, countertop and specialties installation. We are a nationwide cabinet/countertop/specialties manufacturing and installation company with projects throughout the contiguous US and Guam. The majority of these projects are on military bases.

Compensation is $18-$35 DOE or prevailing wage (whichever is greater)

Applicants are expected to:

-have extensive knowledge of the following materials: PLAM, DOMESTIC vs IMPORT WOOD, HINGES, SLIDES, PULLS, CORIAN COUNTERTOPS, PLAM COUNTERTOPS, QUARTZ COUNTERTOPS

-have extensive knowledge of commercial and federal cabinet, countertop and specialties installation

-have your own tools (and the knowledge to properly use them) to install cabinets, countertops and specialties

-have your own PPE

-be available to travel for long periods of time

-have a reliable vehicle with valid license and insurance

-have a clean background (no felonies) and be able to access military bases

-be drug free

-have strong communication skills

-have strong organizational skills

-be able to read architectural drawings, specs and submittal drawings

-be able to do material take offs

-plan and execute a safe, productive work plan

-work well with minimal supervision

-be able to walk and stand for long periods of time

-be able to frequently bend, kneel, squat, twist

-be able to work with material over your head

-be able to lift and carry material weighing over 50 pounds
