We are looking for a full-time Cashier who enjoys working with the public and has a friendly, outgoing personality. As a team-oriented company, we seek an individual who can be flexible with work hours (overtime). The ideal candidate is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and displays a positive attitude when interacting with customers and employees.

Position information:

Hiring full time warehouse grocery Cashier.

40 Hours a week, Plus OT available

No overnight work

Day shift: Monday – Saturday (Sundays off)

Time: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Saturday required: 9:00 am to 2:00 pm

Full health benefits available

One hour lunch breaks and periodical breaks

Comfortable working in indoor climate (no outside work)

Cashier responsibilities and duties:

Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change

Operate registers, scanners and credit card/debit card terminals

Memorize product locations throughout the store and be able to direct customers or make suggestions

Collect payments and bag purchases for customers

Maintain accurate cash drawer

Take a tally of the funds in the cash register when required during a shift and produce transaction reports

Keep the checkout area clean and orderly

Cashier qualifications and skills:

You Must be willing to work and come to work on your scheduled work days

Be on time

Need to be able to stand on your feet for extended periods of time

Able to lift up to 30 lbs

High school graduate (or equivalent experience)

Mathematical skills and the ability to handle transactions quickly and accurately

Previous experience in a retail store as a cashier

Positive, helpful attitude toward customers, including the ability to speak clearly and convey information accurately
