Boatyard Parts Store Assistant

Seaview Boatyard West, located in Bellingham, is currently seeking a self-motivated, reliable Parts Store Assistant to join our crew.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES: 

Post all job materials daily and confirm the accuracy of technician postings – check for missing parts, incorrect part numbers, etc

Make A/P and job file copies of Purchase Order paperwork daily

Process and File PO and Sublet copies in yard store job files

Enter A/P Invoices

Assist with product research as necessary to including contacting vendors for pricing and availability

Help to ensure that yard store shelves are organized, and space is utilized effectively

Assist walk-in customers and generate Point of Sale invoices for non-owner purchases

Assist with quarterly and year end physical inventories

Make parts runs as necessary

Provide Front Desk backup to include phones and customer service

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 

Must have valid Driver’s License

One year experience preferred

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:

Schedule is Monday-Friday from 7:45 am to 5:00 pm

Must work as part of a team and maintain a good attitude

Must be punctual and have excellent work ethic
