Property Attendant
General Information: The Property Attendant (PA) oversees the Community to help maintain the facilities and amenities in good working order and make it a great place to live for our homeowners and tenants. The PA works very closely with the onsite management office, the onsite staff, and the association vendors. PAs are scheduled onsite at the Community 24 hours a day/7 days a week, including holidays.
Objectives:
To provide customer service and information for homeowners, tenants and visitors of the homeowners association.
To respond to property emergencies; the PA is to immediately alert the proper individuals, authorities or vendors to respond to the emergency, and to report all safety hazards on association property to the onsite management office.
To observe and report maintenance needs on the property to the onsite management office.
Job Responsibilities:
Routinely patrol and inspect the buildings, facilities, and common area
Answer the PA cell phone for resident questions and requests
Oversee Resident Move In / Move Out’s
Issue emergency work orders for plumbing, roof leaks, etc.
Monitor the safety and security of the property and report urgent or emergency issues to the property authorities such as police or fire. Respond and dispatch appropriate vendor when residents stuck in an elevator, building fire alarms, unit power outages, etc.
Open and close pools/spas, laundry rooms, clubhouse, etc.
Maintain a PA shift log reporting daily activity
Assist the management office to enforce the association’s policies, procedures, and rules.
Tag and tow vehicles as necessary
Assist vendors with access to buildings, roofs, and amenities when work orders are issued
Special projects and other duties as assigned
Knowledge and Skills:
Customer Service Experience
Verbal and Written Communication
Computer Proficiency a plus, knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Experience in conflict resolution
Self-motivated, proactive, detailed oriented and a team player
Good time management
Knowledge of Homeowners Associations or Apartments a plus
Ability to speak languages in addition to English favored
Schedule:
8 Hour Shift
Shifts: 6am – 2pm, 2pm to 10pm, 10pm to 6am
Must be able to work nights, holidays and weekends (as needed)
Some overtime may be required
