Description:Modern Hydrogen has an immediate opening for a highly qualified Associate Lab Technician (2nd Shift; 2:30-11:3PM) on our Engineering team. In this role, you will operate test stands to validate Modern Hydrogen’s groundbreaking methane pyrolysis technology. You will work closely with a world-class team of mechanical engineers, machinists, physicists, and chemists. The primary responsibilities of this role include: Operating and maintaining mechanical and chemical processing equipment per standard work instructions. Maintaining a clean and safe workspace. Identifying, analyzing, and implementing improvements to work instructions. Supporting a variety of projects in a fast-paced, dynamic research environment.Skills:chemical processing, oil and gas, Engineering, chemical process equipment, Quality control, TroubleshootingTop Skills Details:chemical processing,oil and gas,EngineeringAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Required: High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of industry experience in oil and gas, chemical processing, or a similar field. Able and willing to work a rotating shift schedule that may include nights, weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime. Able and willing to wear personal protective equipment to perform required job tasks, including hearing protection, steel-toed boots, hard hat, and respiratory protection. Demonstrated ability to work as a contributing team member. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Preferred: Associate Degree in an engineering or related discipline 5+ years of industry experience in oil and gas, chemical processing, or a similar field. Experience maintaining and operating chemical processing equipment. Desire and ability to be a leader in personnel safety and teamwork dynamics. Ability to work independently of direct supervision. Impeccable organization, prioritization, time management, and planning skills. Able to communicate technical information clearly and concisely.
