Live-in CNA/RN (Students welcome)

We are currently looking for a female (must be single) who is a fun and responsible caregiver/companion. Our sister is recovering from a stroke and has some minor physical and cognitive deficits.

She needs a companion for activities and basic home care.

She loves to shop, swim, garden, watch movies, play board games/cards, and walk. She is an extrovert and thrives on companionship.

Individual must:

-Possess a driver's license w/clean driving record

-Possess a first aid/CPR certification

-Pass a drug test

-Pass a background check

-Not be a smoker

-Love animals

In exchange for a total of 15 hours of care per week, the individual would be provided a room (with a gorgeous view) including utilities (electricity, high-speed internet & cable) and possible use of a vehicle. The individual would be provided a room in the same area of the home thereby sharing the bathroom, kitchen, and living room with our sister.

Tentatively the schedule is somewhat flexible, but we are looking for an individual with this availability and it is subject to change:

Sunday: 5 hours of care; which includes taking our sister to church

Monday - Friday: 0600 - 0800; which includes assistance with getting up, providing/feeding breakfast and possible assistance with bathing. Some evening work hours maybe required per week depending on schedules.

Saturday: All day off.

Individual may bring an indoor cat, but it must be able get along with another indoor cat.

After the 15 hours per week, the individual would be compensated w/pay negotiable.

This is crucial.

The home is a short walk/drive to the closest bus stop, Windward Mall, as well as Windward Community College.
