Req Number 122353Job DescriptionSupports the design and architecture of various initiatives related to Enterprise Master Patient/Person Identifiers (EMPI). Develops strategies that will be leveraged for the participation in private and public health information exchanges. Ensures appropriate enterprise patient identifiers and enterprise provider identifiers are utilized; extends the strategy to encompass community patient identifiers.Job Responsibility

Supports the design and architecture of various initiatives related to Enterprise Master Patient/Person Identifiers.

Develops an enterprise patient identifier strategy utilizing existing solutions and new technology to meet the needs of various analytic and interoperability initiatives.

Develops a strategy for community EMPI including operational and technical plans for deployment to the community.

Creates organization strategy for non-patient Identity management including provider identity management, guarantor identity management, etc.

Coordinates activities between the EMPI project team and various EPI enabled applications ensuring consistency of EPI implementation.

Utilizes application programming interface and integration technology to ensure consistent, accurate, and current demographic and essential medical data on patients across various health information exchanges.

Provides data stewardship interface guidelines to support data matching and quality management audits.

Operates under general guidance and work assignments are varied and require interpretation and independent decisions on course of action.

Job Qualification

Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.

1-3 years of relevant experience, required.
