Job Description:The Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Navy, Financial Management and Comptroller (OASN (FM&C)) requires strategic support to enhance its highly skilled and engaged FM workforce to support the DON's mission. This support will require integrating changes to audit strategy, organizing and providing actionable metrics, and ongoing strategic implementation. You will be working on one or some of the following efforts: Workforce Integration, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Employee Engagement, and Event Management.As a Level III Financial Analyst teammate with the Navy's FM&C staff, you will leverage your experience to support the following efforts:

Develop implementation strategies to support DON FM Strategy Goal 1, “Enhance our highly skilled and engaged workforce to support the DON's mission.

Provide and prepare content, financial reports, and analysis in support of Special Projects.

Collect and analyze workforce data from ADVANA JUPITER to inform and support recruiting and retention strategies.

Leverage HCM data to provide workforce metrics in support of the client.

Develop visualizations for the Workforce Integrations Support workstreams to support the development of Senior-executive-level briefings and reports.

Recommend and implement data-driven approaches to provide detailed analysis to support decision-making.

Develop and deploy scheduling tools that will aid in providing improved efficiency in the analysis, reporting, and presentation of information.

Recommend KPIs and metrics to facilitate continuing evaluations of the health and quality of all BSO workforce development data and initiatives.

Experience Requirements:Six 6 years of progressive, relevant experience supporting audit response, audit remediation, internal controls, financial processes, and/or accounting in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Statements of Federal Financial Accounting Standards (SFFAS), and/or relevant OMB policies for State or Federal Government agencies or large, complex companies (greater than 1,000) employees. Experience with ADVANA JUPITER is preferred.

Prior work experience or background supporting the DON Financial Management community.

Experience developing and delivering materials, deliverables, and presentations tailored for Senior executive-level personnel who demand a thorough understanding of the subject matter and executive-level personnel who demand a thorough understanding of the subject matter and a high level of precision, sophistication, and attention to detail. This necessitates a nuanced understanding of the audience's preferences, communication styles, and expectations.
