Carpenter Needed at Elco Painting

Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Carpenter at ELCO Painting. The Carpenter will be responsible for performing carpentry tasks, including framing, finish carpentry, and utilizing both power tools and hand tools. The Carpenter will work closely with the rest of the team to ensure successful completion of painting projects in Rhode Island.

Qualifications:

-Self Motivated, Organized, and Ability to manage a job.

-Exterior: Able to replace sheathing, clapboards, shingles, corner boards, fascia and soffit

-Ability to climb 32 ft. ladder.

-Carpentry skills, including both framing and finish carpentry

-Experience with a variety of power tools and hand tools

-Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings

-Attention to detail and quality craftsmanship

-Experience in the painting industry is a plus

-Strong work ethic and ability to work independently

-Excellent time management and organizational skills

-Ability to generate daily report of work performed.

-Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
