DescriptionLocation: On-site, Memphis TNSummaryFirst Horizon Banks’s Correspondent Banking Group is one of the most tenured correspondent banking providers in the country, having served domestic financial institutions for over a century. We are currently seeking a Relationship Manager for developing and maintaining correspondent bank relationships within an assigned geographic territory. Responsibilities include maintaining an existing loan, deposit, and treasury product portfolio for existing clients, and calling on prospective correspondent banking clients to develop new loan, deposits and treasury relationships.Key Responsibilities Include

Ensure coverage through strategic calling efforts within a defined territory. Work with internal partners to identify bank holding company credit opportunities and/or appropriate products/services (deposits/treasury) for domestic financial institutions

Develop and implement an effective plan to acquire and grow financial institution clients

Actively call on clients and prospects to build and maintain long-term relationships

Awareness and knowledge of banking trends, regulations, and financial markets

Develop sales proposals; negotiate deposit and loan pricing etc.

Facilitate timely and efficient resolution of client questions/complaints

Focus on stated goals and targets. Predisposed, results-based approach to achieving goals and applicable metrics

Qualifications Include

Four year college degree

At least 7 years of related banking experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

High degree of comfort making sales calls, including ‘cold” calls, on C-level executives of financial institutions of various sizes (both private and public companies)

Travel required. Overnight travel is common

Attend various banking association activities

Working knowledge of underwriting bank holding company credit facilities is very beneficial, but not required

Effectively researches, analyzes, and evaluates information to make decisions, solve problems, and achieve goals

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Ability to listen, understand and clearly communicate relevant information and ideas with C-level executives and business unit partners, both orally and in writing
