These roles can be fulfilled in any Jacobs office or telework location. As the GTL, you’ll be responsible for leadership of your practice area across all markets and regions utilizing and promoting the Community of Practice (CoP). The responsibilities include:· Learningo Organize and provide meaningful technical learning sessions for the members of the Market CoPs.o Facilitate and encourage development and delivery of technical learning within each of the technical solution areas within e3 learning.o Expand content of e3 learning library with meaningful technical learning content.· Knowledgeo Facilitate the identification, development, verification, authorization, and promotion of technical content within the Technical Library.o Identify and elevate technical innovations from markets and businesses and promote across the broader team for reapplication.o Provide emphasis on technologies that will prepare and equip our staff to provide more sustainable solutions for our clients.o Identification of technical stewards for aligned content within the Technical Library.· Toolso Ensure stewardship of all technically aligned software.o Facilitate development and encourage participation in technical training materials to grow staff skills and increase productivity and overall effectiveness in project delivery.· Connectivity between Market, Sales and Staffo Provide strong communication amongst A&ES and also with leaders representing our different markets and businesses.o Assist in sales and delivery opportunities including matching the right talent to each opportunity.As a key member of the A&ES team, you will be driving and supporting the acceleration of technology specific strategies which will support sales and delivery across all markets. You must be passionate about connecting technical staff across all markets and businesses and your personal background must demonstrate key leadership within your technology area including meaningful technical leadership of people. Knowledge and experience in the delivery of projects within multiple markets is highly desirable. Here’s what you’ll need :

Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering, or other disciplines relevant to A&ES (advanced degree preferred)

Demonstrated leadership of technical professionals, including monitoring work performance, and systematically driving professional development.

Demonstrated technical people leadership

Delivery experience in multiple markets

Professional registration is desired, but not required.

Excellent oral and written communication skills required.

Demonstrated leadership through influence and collaboration.
