Purchasing Admin
DESCRIPTION:
Kauai's leading Business to Business IT Company is seeking a Purchasing Admin in Lihue, Kauai, HI. Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and excel in vendor and customer relations? If so, we have an exciting opportunity to join our team!
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare quotes for purchasing requests
Work with existing vendors and help find new vendors to fulfill purchase requests
Work with Sales and Accounting department to keep quotes and purchases organized
Prepare pre-sales documents
Assist, as needed, with inventory tracking
Keep our product catalog up to date
Build and maintain good relationships with clients and vendors
CANDIDATES SHOULD POSSESS THE FOLLOWING ATTRIBUTES/SKILLS:
Be comfortable using software like Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Well organized
Focused and calm under pressure
Strong Customer Service skills
Strong Communication skills – gathers requirements for purchasing requests and can properly articulate solutions
Time management – set priorities when handling multiple tasks
Team collaboration –collaborate with team members and coworkers
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Lifting up to 25 pounds may be required on an occasional basis
NORMAL WORK HOURS:
Monday Friday from 7:30 a.m. 4:00 p.m.
