Job description

Assist in preparation of event foods: Typical work week is 25-35 hours/ week beginning May 1st. During our busy season, (June-October), hours will be closer to 40 hours/week.

Major Requirements & Responsibilities: The Prep Chef will assist the Head Chef, under the Executive Chef, with day-to-day operations in the kitchen.

Assist the head chef to prepare and cook the food for all events held at Rockin' TJ Ranch

Follows close direction of head chef and sous chef

Inventory and rotation

Ensure every guest receives outstanding products and service in a timely manner

Maintain excellence in food quality by upholding all recipes and product specifications.

Maintain high standards of safety and sanitation for a clean kitchen and require the same from the staff

Knowledge and Skills:

2 experience

Knife skills

ServSafe and HAACP knowledge preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay rate:

Hourly pay

Wage: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour DOE

Experience level:

2 years, required

Weekly day range:

Monday to Friday

Weekends as needed

Experience:

Culinary experience: 2 years (Required)

Cooking: 2 years (Required)

Location: Bozeman, MT, we require a local candidate for this position.
