Handyman for high-rise apartment building

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our team. As a Handyman, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of repair, maintenance, and improvement tasks. Your expertise will contribute to ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetics of residential and commercial properties.

Responsibilities:

General Repairs: Diagnose and fix issues related to plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, appliances, and structural components.

Carpentry and Painting: Repair or replace damaged woodwork, doors, windows, and walls. Paint surfaces as needed.

Maintenance: Regularly inspect properties to identify maintenance needs. Perform preventive tasks such as cleaning, trash/recycling removal, changing filters, and lubricating moving parts.

Installation: Install fixtures, hardware, and appliances (e.g., ceiling fans, light fixtures, faucets).

Drywall Repair: Patch holes, cracks, and dents in drywall.

Tile and Flooring: Repair or replace tiles, laminate, hardwood, and other flooring materials.

Landscaping: Basic landscaping tasks, including lawn care, trimming, and minor outdoor repairs.

Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients, understand their requirements, and provide excellent service.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on projects.

Record Keeping: Maintain records of completed tasks, materials used, and hours worked.

Problem-Solving: Analyze issues and find practical solutions.

Qualifications:

Experience: Proven experience as a Handyman or in a related field.

Skills: Proficient in plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and general repairs.

Tools: Familiarity with common tools and equipment.

Physical Stamina: Ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects.

Attention to Detail: Thoroughness in completing tasks.

Communication: Clear communication skills.

Reliability: Punctuality and dependability.

Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license is preferred.
