Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Floor Manager to join our team. As a pivotal member of our management staff, the Floor Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant. From overseeing daily operations to fostering a positive work environment, the ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of leadership skills, industry knowledge, and a dedication to delivering unparalleled guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Lead by example, setting the standard for exceptional service and professionalism

Supervise and support front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and bartenders

Coordinate with the kitchen team to maintain efficient flow of service and uphold food quality standards

Monitor and manage dining room reservations, ensuring optimal table turnover and guest satisfaction

Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a prompt and professional manner

Train, mentor, and develop team members to enhance their skills and foster a culture of excellence

Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant, adhering to health and safety standards

Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies for improving overall performance and profitability

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry

Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team building and staff development

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and colleagues at all levels

Proven track record of delivering high-quality service and exceeding guest expectations

Solid understanding of restaurant operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and cost control

Ability to remain calm and composed in fast-paced environments, with a keen eye for detail

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
